H Harley-Davidson που διέσχισε τον Ειρηνικό Ωκεανό επιπλέοντας μέσα σε ένα κοντέινερ, δεν θα επιστρέψει στην Ιαπωνία. Ο ιδιοκτήτης της, Ikuo Yokoyama, αρνήθηκε να έχει προνομιακή μεταχείριση τη στιγμή που άλλοι συμπολίτες του έχουν μεγαλύτερες ανάγκες. Η Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train (μοντέλο του 2004) θα μεταφερθεί στο μουσείο της Harley-Davidson, όπου θα εκτίθεται στην κατάσταση που βρέθηκε, ως ένα μνημείο για τα περισσότερα από 15.000 θύματα της καταστροφής(σεισμός, τσουνάμι, πυρηνικό ατύχημα) που έπληξε την Ιαπωνία.

The Harley-Davidson motorcycle that crossed the Pacific Ocean on a container, after been swept by the tsunami, will not return to Japan. Ikuo Yokoyama, its owner, refused to be treated differently, since there are Japanese citizens in greater need than him. The 2004 Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train will be displayed, unrestored, in the Harley-Davidson Museum, as a memorial to the 15,000+ people who lost their lives in the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster in Japan.
