Several months ago I posted about a documentary on the 500cc two-stroke motogp racing. This video is no longer available, but now there is a chance for more 500cc madness: The Unrideables Part II, which picks up from its predecessor and takes us into the 1990s. Rainey, Schwantz, Lawson, Gardner, Mamola, Roberts and others talk bout this era of heroes.

Πριν από αρκετούς μήνες έγραψα για ένα ντοκιμαντέρ που αφορούσε στην εποχή των δίχρονων πεντακοσαριών στα motogp. Το βίντεο αυτό δεν είναι πια διαθέσιμο, αλλά προέκυψε περισσότερη από την τρέλα τους. Το "Unrideables Part II" ξεκινά από εκεί που σταμάτησε το πρώτο μέρος και μας φέρνει μέσα στη δεκαετία του 90. While on a weekend-morning ride, I spotted this turbocharged TDM. I could not find out some more information but I am pretty sure that since the air filter is the only obvious clue, this TDM is the source of many surpised looks.

Στη στάση για καφέ μιας πρωινής βόλτας πάρκαρα δίπλα σε αυτό το τουρμπισμένο TDM. Δεν κατάφερα να μάθω περισσότερα για τη μετατροπή, αλλά είμαι σίγουρος πως προκαλεί πολλά βλέματα απορίας, μιας και η φιλτροχοάνη είναι το μόνο προφανές στοιχείο πως κάτι συμβαίνει..

The KTM Freeride 350 was the one more bike I had to have, but until the presentation of the Freeride 250. I do not have any experience in off-road riding, minus the last mile to the deserted beach, but KTM has a series of three episodes on that.
Do not forget to turn the english subtitles on, if you do not understand german.







Η KTM Freeride 350 ήταν η άλλη μια μοτοσυκλέτα που έπρεπε να έχω, αλλά έως την εμφάνιση της KTM Freeride 250. Δεν έχω καμμιά εμπειρία στην εκτός δρόμου οδήγηση, εκτός από τα 2χλμ έως την έρημη παραλία, αλλά η ΚΤΜ έχει μια σειρά τριών επεισοδίων για αυτό.

It is not safe to operate your cellphone while riding, but smartphones can utilize their apps for your own good while you are riding, or suddenly stop doing it. "REALsafe" is an app that can understand whether you had an accident with your motorcycle and makes contact with the emergency medical services.
It costs £25 for a 12 month subscription and the service is available in the UK.
